Let me begin by pointing out that I have no desire to marry my mother. However the troubled king appealed to me in a few ways. Firstly, I can relate to the tragedy. I haven’t killed my father yet but my career to date has been interesting and mostly woeful. Secondly, I’m a positivist by persuasion and hold no truck with this natural law malarkey. Finally, the classical imagery appealed to my pretentious side. I am aware that Oedipus is Greek and that Lex is Latin.
So what is this? It started off as a blog but has developed into a platform for me to write and rant about the serious and the not so serious alike. If you would like me to contribute to your website, blog or if you need copy writing (that’s kind of what I do for a living) please get in touch.
